VarsityBound Consulting is a 1 on 1 consulting company that supports young soccer players' goals in trying to play university soccer in Canada. We are dedicated to helping young athletes achieve their dreams and succeed both on and off the field. Our personalized approach and expert guidance can make the difference for aspiring college athletes.
Meet the founder
Connor has been heavily involved within the soccer community over the last 15+ years. Having played with Vancouver United FC, Fusion FC, the BC Provincial Team, and the UBC Thunderbirds, he has in depth experience with how the recruiting process works. Additionally, he has extensive experience with on field coaching and has worked as an Academic Coach for university student athletes.
"Having been through the extremely complicated process of university soccer recruiting, I want to be able to support those players who are motivated to play at this level. Often players have the ability and drive, but struggle to make the connections or showcase themselves in ways that catch a coach's attention. Having been through this process myself, that's where I can help!"
Relevant Experience:
- 5 years of experience playing on scholarship for UBC, winning 3 CanWest Championships and 1 USports National Championship
- Studying Finance at the Sauder School of Business
- 3x Academic All-Canadian: Finishing the year with an 80%+ average while playing Varsity Athletics
- Varsity Team Academic Coach (VTAC)
- Soccer Coach with Vancouver United FC and Roman Tulis Soccer School of Excellence
